  Waitresses and staff were pleasant and happy, however had to wait and actually get up and ask for our water. I got the lite prime rib. Even tho it was very tender and cooked perfectly, it was quite fatty and definitely not worth the price of $30. It was just like a thick slice of beef. I should of gone for the full steak, which was a few $$ dearer. Outlook was lovely on the deck. I would go back again to see if it's any better with the other meal and if service has improved

  Food is good, servers are generally friendly, however we found that the service was severely lacking. there was one person (possibly a manager or more senior staff) that was very helpful, but the general waitresses never got back to us with drinks or other requests when asked. The place was clean. Good for groups, couples and families. Good variety of food as well.

  Only dined here once but the food was very good and was complimented by extremely efficient and prompt service. The location is great with views across the Port Stephens waterways and the marina precinct. A wide selection of Entrees, Main meals and Desserts is available along with a wide range of drinks from the bar. Private booths are available for large groups celebrating Birthdays etc. Highly recommend Hogs Breath Nelson Bay to all.
